Coastal Restorations Inc., builds porous groyne-barrier reef systems for those individuals that are not interested in using marine accretion technology. These groyne-barrier reef systems are constructed from high quality, marine grade (5,000 psi) reinforced concrete in a patented process.
Each system is specifically designed and ARI is able to work with Ocean Caraibes to ensure that any and all projects co-exist. The porous groynes are “coastal havens” created close to shore with few hydrodynamic openings to prevent and trap sediment and sand from leaving the project site. They are also created to become a barrier reef habitat and wave attenuation device.
