in Salt Pond & Wetland Restoration and Creation
in the Caribbean and Central America.
Over the years, many salt ponds and wetlands
have turned into cesspools and non-productive habitats for
various reason. Many of these areas can be modified through
the construction of flushing channels to create natural
productive marine lagoons. Others have been converted into
marine basins to be used as inland small boat harbors.
