An indirect hurricane can have as much impact as a direct hurricane in destroying a coastline and its beach dimensions. If more than one hurricane passes near or hits an island in a season, dramatic changes to the coastline can occur within a few short months.
Ocean Caraibes conducts specific site tests to determine which solutions would suit the area best. The solutions are then given to you, the client, in an in depth report, along with photographs taken from the site, and results from any studies.
We understand that money is a large factor when determining what action(s) will be taken to help slow down and prevent further coastal erosion. We can provide solutions for a long term project (generally considered to be “maintenance” as it helps maintain the coastline over a longer period of time) as well as short term projects (usually the simplest solution to the site specific problem, and generally not our first recommendation) to help space out the costs if necessary.
